Microsoft Customer Story: Telstra x Azure OpenAI (Australia Production)

Delivering Seamless Global Production Support for Microsoft’s Telstra Customer Story.

Project Type: International Video Production | Customer Story | Full Lifecycle Management

As Head of Project Management for Microsoft’s Telstra Customer Story, highlighting the use of Azure OpenAI in Australia, I led the project from pre-production through final invoicing. This global production required precise coordination across continents, with a U.S.-based crew filming on-site in Australia. I oversaw every stage of the project lifecycle, including international travel logistics, local vendor hiring, cross-time zone communications, and final closeout documentation.

My Role:

  • Directed end-to-end project management across pre-production, execution, and wrap

  • Managed international travel planning and scheduling for U.S.-based crew

  • Hired and coordinated local production vendors in Australia to support remote team

  • Maintained clear communication workflows across global time zones

  • Finalized project closeout with detailed Proof of Execution documentation for invoicing

Outcome:

The Telstra x Azure OpenAI Customer Story launched successfully as both a video and article on Microsoft’s platforms. Through structured planning, adaptive execution, and efficient wrap-up, I ensured the global shoot met all creative, logistical, and compliance standards.
