"Imagine You" Short Film – On-Set Production Coordination

Orchestrating Set Operations (and a Surprise Cameo!) for "Imagine You"

Project Type: Narrative Short Film | On-Set Production | Crew & Logistics Coordination

As On-Set Production Coordinator for Imagine You, a narrative short film directed by Dez Davis, I led set operations and day-to-day production logistics, ensuring a smooth, focused environment that allowed the cast and crew to bring the story to life. From managing the call sheet and crew flow to solving real-time challenges during shoot days, I helped create structure behind the scenes that fueled creative momentum. And in true collaborative spirit, I even stepped in for a quick background cameo, because great production support means doing whatever it takes to keep the day on track.

My Role:

  • Oversaw daily on-set crew coordination, check-ins, and call times

  • Managed production schedules and real-time adjustments

  • Facilitated communication across departments to keep things running smoothly

  • Supported cast needs, production resets, and logistical troubleshooting

  • Appeared as a background actor in one scene to support the creative team

Outcome:

The film was completed on schedule, with a highly collaborative set atmosphere and minimal production disruptions. My coordination ensured shoot days were structured but flexible, supporting the creative team with confidence, clarity, and a little bit of fun.
